Park Lodge Elementary School

Welcome to Park Lodge Elementary! 

I am Angela DeShields, the proud principal of Park Lodge since the 2020-21 school year. Located in Lakewood, Washington, our school serves over 350 students from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our dedicated staff is committed to addressing both the academic and social-emotional needs of every student, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. In addition to our 16 general education kindergarten through 5th grade classrooms, we also have two Success classrooms, supporting our students with varying behavior needs and skills. 

Park Lodge Elementary offers a variety of programs to support all learners, including: 

• Daily specialist classes in PE, Library, or Fine Arts 
• A robust Multi-Lingual Learner (MLL) program for language development 
• Reading and math intervention services for additional academic support 
• A strong special education program focused on inclusive practices
